Our Partners

Wayfinders relies on our high-quality camp partners to provide our campers with extraordinary residential summer camp experiences that broaden their horizons, provide life-changing opportunities, and expose them to expanded social networks.

We work closely with Communities in Schools and Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools staff to select low-income students who stand to benefit most from our programs.

Wayfinders relies on our dedicated volunteer mentors, as they work closely with each of our students, helping to make sure they are properly prepared and outfitted for camp, providing transportation to and from camp and all of our enrichment activities (one per month), and checking in with their campers and families throughout the school year.

Wayfinders also has numerous community partners – local non-profit organizations who provide our students with additional learning opportunities, cultural activities, experiences in nature, peer networking opportunities, and skill building programs during out-of-school time throughout the year.
